Guests can catch sight of breaching humpback whales and hunting Orca pods while watching from the covered, heated flybridge while soaking in the hot tub with a glass of champagne. Dine alfresco on the fantail while spotting nesting bald eagles. One of three dining areas aboard the Kaori , the fantail allows you to be in nature with all the comforts of being on a world class yacht. Sonos surround sound throughout and around the yacht will create a ambience and spirit that you will want to take home with you when you leave. Our crew of 5 permanent crew will cater to your every need including a five star menus from our chef Ben who has trained in over 5 countries and loves to bring local fresh ingredients into every dish he makes. Our naturalist Lee will be able to track down any wildlife you are interested in catching sight of all while sharing with your family and friends her local knowledge of the indigenous people and their customs as well as the best places to kayak and hike to better see wildlife. Go explore by kayak or skiff around boulder-sized icebergs that you watched calve off the glacier moments before and later have a cocktail made out of glacier ice that is a million years old. Naturalist Lee Burrows

Lee first came to Alaska in 1995. She drove from California with her dog and her kayak, exploring Alaska from the Inside Passage to the Top of the World Highway in the Yukon. It was then that the nature of Alaska and her unique communities grabbed a special place in her heart. She has paddled with Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, walked the tundra with Polar Bears, Brown Bears, and shared a beach with Walrus!
Lee has been leading exclusive yacht expeditions in Southeast and Southcentral Alaska for over twenty years. Over that time, she has developed an intimate knowledge of the waters and wildlife of coastal Alaska, and desires to share knowledge of that wilderness with her passengers. Her presentations on wildlife and culture are both educational and enjoyable.
She has a deep connection and respect for the native culture in Southeast Alaska, and many contacts within the communities in the small villages and towns.
Lee has had the opportunity to work with over 25 Yachts: the Owners, Captains, and crews, and has loved every minute of it.
